The ACCL journal, The Chinese Comparatist, was founded in 1987 as a platform for communication and the publication of new research in Chinese comparative literary studies.
Three issues were published in Fall 1987 (vol. 1.1), January 1988 (vol. 2.1), and July 1989 (vol. 3.1), before the journal's untimely demise.
The entire journal has now been digitized, in a cooperation between the ACCL and Penn State University Libraries, and is now available for browsing on the Penn State University website:
